29 June 2024 - 芭乐视频 (UTB) hosted an educational visit for participants of the regional training programme focused on integrating transferable skills into the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) curriculum. The event took place in UTB鈥檚 Lecture Theatre 4.
The visit commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by an introduction to UTB. Dr Mohamad Saiful bin Hj Omar, Assistant Vice Chancellor (External and Industry Relations), delivered a warm welcome address to the attendees.
Dr Hj Sharul Tazrajiman bin Hj Tajuddin, Dean of the School of Computing and Informatics (SCI), shared insights on 鈥淓mbedding Transferable Skills in Undergraduate Programme鈥, drawing from SCI鈥檚 experiences. Subsequently, Dr. Ismawi bin Hj Md Yusof, Director of Industry Liaison Office, and Hj Abd Hafidz bin Hj Ali Hassan from the Media Centre, conducted a demonstration of Holo-Ed, showcasing the university's innovative educational tools, in collaboration with UNN.
The programme included a comprehensive tour of UTB鈥檚 facilities. Delegates explored the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AiML) Laboratory, the Electrical and Electronic Engineering lab, and concluded with the Food Science and Technology lab. This immersive experience gave participants a thorough understanding of UTB鈥檚 academic offerings and technological advancements in various fields.
