In commemoration of Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1444H/2023M, 芭乐视频 (UTB) organised Majlis Ibadah Korban and Aqiqah held at the Concourse Hall of the university. This annual event is collaboratively organised by the Religious Unit, Student Affairs Office and UTB Student Representative Council (MPPUTB).
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Dr Mohamad Saiful bin Haji Omar, Acting Vice-Chancellor UTB. Also in attendance were the Principal Officers, university staff and students, as well as invited guests.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-fatihah followed by Selawat Tafrijiyyah and a collective Takbir Raya.
An enlightening talk on 鈥�Cara Pembahagian Daging Korban Menurut Islam鈥� was delivered by Yang Mulia Norhayati binti Haji Abd Rahman, Assistant Religious Development Officer, from Islamic Da鈥檞ah Centre (PDI), Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Following the talk, the Guest of Honour distributed the sacrificial meat to 19 asnaf fakir miskin and other relevant recipients.
The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the invited speaker and the recitation of Doa Selamat.
