The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) organised the Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1445H/2024M celebration at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. The event was graced by the presence of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, and other esteemed members of the royal family.
Representing °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ (UTB) at the event were Yang Mulia Dr. Au Thien Wan, Acting Vice-Chancellor; Yang Mulia Dr. Mohamed Saiful bin Hj Omar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (External & Industry Relations); members of the Student Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, Corporate Communications Office, Media Centre; and the Student Representative Council (MPPUTB) for the 2023/2024 session.
UTB actively participated in the celebration by showcasing its community-engaged research project on Vertical Rice Farming (VRF) presented by Mohammad Ariz bin Hairol Mohd Sidek; Muhammad Nur Firdaus bin Naik/Kahan; Adil Khan Bin Mohd and highlighting the university’s students’ community engagement activities presented by Awangku Ahmad Amsyar Zaki bin Pengiran Abdul Razak and Siti Hazimah binti Haji Sijim @ Siti Hafizah. This exhibit demonstrated UTB’s commitment to innovative and sustainable agricultural practices, as well as its dedication to fostering student involvement in community-driven initiatives.
